Counseling:

Career Center:

Students: Do you need last minute community service? Consider volunteering at McCornack Elementary’s carnival Thursday, June 6th. Sign up in the Career Center.

Seniors who have completed all of their graduation requirements please come and pick up your folder in the Career Center. Also, those receiving an honors diploma, please come and pick up your cord to wear at graduation.

LCC Placement Tests:

Last chance to take at CHS! LCC placement tests reading and writing 8:00am on June 5th and math at 3:00pm (after school). Sign up in the Career Center.

AP Comp:

If you have signed up for AP Composition with Mrs. Grube for next year – Please stop by room G-10 to pick up your summer reading list in the next two days.

Seniors:

Remember to order your final transcripts! See Meredith in the Registrar’s office.

Two great scholarships for seniors going to OSU.
1: for minority, women or 1st generation college students declaring Renewable Materials Major maybe awarded $6,500 each year for 4 years.
2: Balanced Man Scholarship. Several awards ($500 and $1,000). Come to the Career Center for more information.

Churchill TV

Need community service hours? Churchill TV needs your help with setting up equipment and running it during graduation on June 7th. You don’t need experience to do this. If interested please contact Chad Luna.

Yearbook:

Yearbooks are almost here. They will be handed out on Monday, June 3rd at lunch outside the auditorium. Please have your student ID’s with you. Books are still for sale $75.00 cash in the finance office.

Baccalaureate:

All students and staff are invited to celebrate this year’s graduating seniors at Baccalaureate. Baccalaureate will be held at Willamette Christian Center on Wednesday, June 5th at 7:00pm. There is no cost to attend. Baccalaureate is an inspirational celebration, and will be led by several students of the 2013 graduating class. There will be refreshments and a time for congratulating friends and students afterwards.

Rachel Carson:

There is a plant sale today from 3:30 to 4:30pm in the Churchill greenhouse.  Help support the Rachel Carson Program.

Girls Basketball:

There will be a girls summer basketball informational meeting today at lunch in Coach Gower’s room, H-11.

The high quality of Churchill Football tradition continues.  There will be an important meeting for parents, players, and coaches at Churchill’s cafeteria 7:00 to 9:00pm tomorrow night.  Information on spring ball, summer conditioning, summer football camp, gear check out, and many more important items.

There will be a boys summer basketball informational meeting today at 5:30pm in the Library.

WISE:

The Career Center has updated the community service board to include summer service opportunities.  Stop by and see featured items like the Eugene Police Department’s summer camp “Safety Town” – deadline June 1st and OSU’s Ocean Watch Summer Camp – deadline tomorrow.

The application deadline for the Early Start Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship has been extended to tomorrow.  If you aim to pursue your talent in art, music, or drama after high school, stop by the Career Center to pick up an application.
