Cerealously!

Nine advanced graphic design students recently completed a 6 week cereal box design project. They designed their own box based on a theme of their choosing. The students applied knowledge and skills with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator that they learned throughout their tenure in the Graphic Design Academy. They followed professional design standards, process and techniques to produce a box that rivals anything you’d find on the supermarket shelf. As icing on the cake, the students sent their designs to the art director at Schawk Design in Battle Creek, Michigan which is the in-house design firm at Kelloggs. Their team of package designers agreed to review and critique the students’ designs! Student boxes and artist statements can be viewed at: http://staff.4j.lane.edu/~eagen/gd2b/gd2b_cereal_briefs.html
