African American Youth Conference and MeCha:

The Raza Unida Conference is February 25th at the U of O.  The African American student Leadership Conference is April 2nd at Western Oregon University.  For details please contact Kevin Summerfield.

Key Club:

Key Club will be selling cookies this Friday, after school at the planters the cost is three cookies for $1.00.  Yum.


There will be a WISE meeting tomorrow at lunch in the STEM conference room.  All are welcome.


The application deadline for summer internships with the Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering (ASE) program are due Monday, March 9th.  Please see your counselor or Mary Beth in the School-to-Careers office in the STEM building.  ASE internships are open to grades nine through eleven.


Track season is coming up quickly, and if you have been thinking about participating or have any questions there will be an informational meeting today at lunch.

South Eugene Rowing Club:

South Eugene Rowing Club’s Two-Week Free Trial starts this week.  Eugene 8th through 12th graders can experience crew practices at Dexter Lake with our competitive co-ed novice team, and get in shape while making new friends!  To take part, stop by South Eugene’s IHS hall after school with a signed waiver from our website

South Eugene Girls Lacrosse:

Would you like to be part of a unique sport?  Come join the South Eugene Lacrosse team.  There will be a meeting at lunch tomorrow in the Library.  There will be cookies.

Spring Sports Parents and Coaches Night:

Spring Sports night is tonight at 6:00pm in the Cafeteria.
