Work Opportunity:

Applications for seasonal part time work at Euphoria Chocolate are now available. Pick one up outside the School-to-Careers office in the STEM Building. Applicants must have a good attitude, and be able to lift 25 pounds. Prefer a student with customer service experience, good basic math skills. Cashier experience would be a plus but not necessary. Position is for part time on Fridays and all day Saturdays.

WISE:

There will be a Women In Science and Engineering meeting today at lunch in the STEM building conference room. Be wise. Join WISE.

Black Student Union:

All students interested in being a part of the Black Student Union meet today at Lunch in the Front Porch, “Kevin’s room.”

Bookworm Club:

Bookworm Club is a fun group for people who enjoy making friends, talking about books and movies, and loving life.  Our first meeting is today at lunch in the Library.  We have new books to share and PB & J sandwiches, so you can come on over.

College and Career Center:

An Admissions representative from George Fox College will be here today in the college and career center at 11:30. This is a good time to ask questions and get valuable information about a college you are considering.

An admissions representative from the University of British Columbia will be here tomorrow at 12:30 in the college and career center. Grab some lunch and join us to learn about opportunities for college in Canada.

Leadership:

Hey Seniors! Your senior council needs help deciding on the class song.  Submit your ideas Friday, at lunch, at the planters.

Juniors:

PSAT study guides are available in the College and Career Center.  Prepare now for testing on October 16th.

School to Career:

Willamette Christian Center needs volunteers on Wednesday evenings in their nursery.  Pick up contact information from the Community Service wall in the College and Career Center.

Congratulations:

Congrats to Victoria Kaiser from the Churchill Band. She will be performing next week with the Pacific Honors Ensemble in Brisbane Australia. She was not only recognized for her talent to attend, but also received a full scholarship to attend!
