Bus Passes:

Football:

There will be a football meeting in the library Monday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. to meet the new coach.

Young Republicans:

The Young Republicans will meet today at lunch in room J­15. We will be discussing current state of the primary season.

Culinary Competition:

Arilea Thein and a teammate will be in a culinary competition tomorrow at LCC starting at 10:00am in the college campus building #19 room 109. Come and support them.

Leadership:

Seniors! IF you didn’t have time to fill out your Senior Best, you can pickup the form in Mrs. Wilgus’s room B­17. They are due Wednesday.

Seniors:

Your senior survey is due May 2nd. Pick one up in the College and Career Center.

The 4j MAPS Association ­ First Generation College Scholarship application is due May 5th. If you are the first person in your family to go to college, apply for this scholarship. Turn your completed application and all requested documents into the College and Career Center.

GSA:

This week today thru Friday GSA is holding an after school bake sale. It will be set up near the front entrance to the school. There will be cookies, brownies, rice krispie treats and other goods, including gluten free and peanut allergy options. While supplies last. All sales support GSA.

Leadership:

If you would like to bring a guest to prom, you must have a guest pass filled out and signed by an administrator. Pick up and turn into the front office.

Juniors and Seniors­ Vote for Prom Court at the planters during lunch. Voting begins today and ends on Wednesday, May 4th. Come and let your voice be heard.

Prom Dresses:

Looking for a Prom Dress? Twenty­-five beautiful prom dresses have been donated to Churchill to help students who cannot find or afford a dress of their own. There are many styles, colors, and sizes available. If you are interested, come tomorrow, during lunch, in Leah’s room, J­9, to see the display of dresses.

BSU:

BSU will meet in Kevin’s office today at lunch.

Community Service opportunity! Students, earn some community service hours this Saturday, April 30th and help Ophelia’s Place host Girls Rule! a one­day event at Churchill offering hands on workshops for children ages 9-­14. There are two, four, and six hour shifts available. Sign up outside the School­-to­-Career office in the STEM building or the Career Center. Any student may volunteer.

All new NHS candidates for the 2016­2017 school year, there is a mandatory meeting today at lunch in the Choir room explaining the application process.

AP Testing:

If you have not yet “bubbled” your answer sheet for the AP Test, you must come to the Bubble Session tomorrow at 8 a.m. in the auditorium. You must complete the answer sheet before taking the test. Again, that is TOMORROW at 8 a.m. Please bring a #2 pencil.

South Eugene Theater:

Come see the comedy­-thriller “Deathtrap” now through Saturday. Posters can be found around school. Tickets are $7.00 for students and show starts at 7:00pm at South’s Little Theater.

Marcus Mariota Signed Items for Auction

Not many things are better than Marcus Mariota and saving babies… So why not combine the two!!! Marcus has generously signed these jerseys, footballs, and Sports Illustrated magazines for us to auction off at the Lancer Pageant this Friday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m. in the Churchill Auditorium to help benefit Children’s Miracle Network. They all come with certificates of authenticity as well.
