Twin Oaks Outdoor School:

If you want to be a counselor for the Twin Oaks Outdoor School program, come to the meeting Monday, after school, in the Computer Lab.

The Asian American Youth Leadership Conference will be held on Friday, May 13 at Concordia University in Portland. If you are interested in this great opportunity, please come to H23 Japanese Classroom for the application form. Application needs to be turned in by this Monday, April 25.


Prom tickets go on sale Monday, at the planters during lunch.  Prices are $30.00 with ASB and $35.00 without.

College and Career:

Community Service Opportunity ­ Generosity Feeds needs volunteers on May 14th, 10:00am ­ 12:00 to help package meals for those in need. Come to the college and career center for more information.

Eugene Fire & EMS Career Day is Tuesday, May 3rd. This all­day career exploration trip features careers in firefighting, peace officer, EMT, and emergency dispatch. Learn new skills, learn what types of equipment are used, see crews fight a live fire. This event also features employers and representatives from area community colleges. Space is limited so sign up NOW at the School­-to­-Career office in the STEM building.

Community Service opportunity! Students, earn some community service hours on Saturday, April 30th and help Ophelia’s Place host Girls Rule! a one-­day event at Churchill offering hands on workshops for children ages 9­-14. There are two, four, and six hour shifts available. Sign up outside the School­-to­-Career office in the STEM building or the Career Center. Any student may volunteer.

Juniors, get a jump on your senior year. Come to How to Prepare for Senior Year information night, Monday night at 6:30 in the auditorium. Very important information will be given to you. You don’t want to miss it. Parents are encouraged to attend.

There will be a Lane Community College information session on Tuesday, at 1:00 in F39 for all seniors going to LCC or thinking about going to LCC in the fall. This is an important meeting you don’t want to miss but please, get permission from your 4th period teacher first.

An admissions representative from the Art Institute of Portland will be here on Wednesday, at lunch in the College & Career Center. All grades are invited to attend.


The Oregon Primary is May 17th, if you are 17 years old or older, register to vote at the planters by April 26th.

Lancer Pageant:

The Lancer Pageant is tonight.  Come buy your tickets by the planters or get them from your coordinators, contestants or in room B­17. We are having a silent auction, Marcus Mariota signed items.
