African American Students

All students that identify as African American or descendants of Africa, please meet Kevin at lunch today in the auditorium.


The senior best forms that were given out on Friday at the senior meeting are due Wednesday, March 1st. Please turn them into the t-shirt sale table at lunch and the 10 minute passing period. T-shirts will be available for pre-order starting March 1st and will be going until the following Wednesday.

Lancer Pageant

Make sure to get a flyer and eat at Papa’s Pizza on W. 11th before or after the girls playoff game on Wednesday, March 1st so the Lancer Pageant can received 50% of the money you spend on your yummy food.

Lancer Musicians

Congrats to 5 of our finest Lancer Musicians. Noah Polacek place 1st in Mallets and qualified for State, Isabell Huey Placed 1st in Oboe and qualified for State, Jessica Searl Placed 1st in Soprano and qualified for State, Eli Cleland Place 1st in Baritone Voice, and Martin Kaiser placed 2nd in Flute and was named 1st alternate to state.

South Eugene Rowing Team

South Eugene Rowing team is recruiting 8th-12th grade athletes for spring practice and racing. No experience needed! Come to an outdoor practice at Dexter Lake. Athletes need a signed US Rowing waiver to come to the lake. Team departs and returns to SEHS from the International high school wing, weekdays 4-7pm. Make friends, get fit, go fast! Free trial period through March 3rd. Information meeting Thursday, March 2nd at 730pm at SEHS cafeteria. Contact Coach Kales with questions:

West End/Theatre

West End is holding auditions for our Slam Night. Auditions will be Wednesday, March 1st after school in the auditorium. We will accept: raps, slam poetry, beats, lyrics and freestyle. Everything must be radio appropriate – no cussing, no slurs, and no sexual comments.


If you would like to order an 8×10 photo print of the senior class photo, bring $10 to Mr. Eagen in room C9. The photo order will be placed Thursday, March 2nd.

Lancer Pageant

Today is the day. Don’t forget to stop by  Hawaiian Time on West 11th anytime of the day today to get some great food and support the Lancer Pageant. Make sure to get a flyer from around campus and take it with you.

Oregon Public Universities and College Fair

The Oregon Public Universities and College Fair is tonight starting at 6:00 in the auditorium.  All grades and families are welcome to attend.

Beauty Club

Beauty Club meets tomorrow after school in STEM 105.
