Library

The library staff invites you to come in and find some reading for your break. We have some great new books and graphic novels. Happy spring break from your library.

Leadership

Students and Staff- Join Leadership today in the conference room during lunch to brainstorm ideas for mental health awareness month.

Dance 101 is today at lunch in the cafeteria.

Summer Employment

The City of Springfield is currently looking to hire 12 individuals for summer employment. Starting salary is $10.68 per hour. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to meet Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industry standards for operating equipment by the time of hire and have a valid Oregon driver’s license. For directions on how to apply, please pick up a flyer in the career center or outside the STEM Building office.

Textbooks

Please remember to return your textbooks to your teachers or the library by Friday to avoid late charges.

Equestrian

Churchill’s Equestrian team’s final horse show is next weekend, March 31-April 2. Come cheer on Ali, Jade, Madaya, Vanessa, and Kendall.

Magic the Gathering

If you want to play or learn to play Magic the Gathering, come to F55 tomorrow at lunch.

Community Service

The “Color Me Rad” 5k run is Saturday April 1st. Volunteers are needed on Friday the 31st from 2:30-6:30 to check in runners, on Saturday from 8:00-11:00 am to work the color stations, hand out water, check people in or helping in the swag tent and finally from 10:00-1:00 for course clean up. Every volunteer receives a t-shirt. The run begins at CrossFit Eugene at Valley River. If you are interested see Ms Wilgus in Rm B-17 for more information.

Bus Passes

April bus passes are available in the finance office with Ken.

Spring Clothing Drive

Churchill’s 1st Annual Spring Clothing Drive is coming April 3-14. Collection boxes will be located in the front office and room B17. Enter our raffle at a chance to win prizes.

Senior Grad Party

Attention Seniors: Today and tomorrow are your last chances to earn 20 extra raffle tickets by purchasing your Grad Party Ticket. The raffle tickets are for the grand prizes of a flat screen TV, mini-ipad and Go-Pro. You can purchase your grad party ticket of $35 full price or $20 reduced lunch in the front office.

Sports

Today:  Varsity Baseball at Thurston:  4:30 pm: Release at 2pm; JV Baseball at CHS Double Header: 2/4pm:  Release at Noon; Girls Tennis vs. South Eugene at 4pm: Release at 3pm; JV Boys Golf at Oakway, 1 pm start – dismiss at 11:30 am

Saturday:  JV Baseball at Oakridge for DH: Noon and 2pm
