GSA

Tomorrow is National Day of Silence. It is the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Networks annual day of action to spread awareness about the affects of bullying and harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students. Students take a day long vow of silence to symbolically represent the silencing of LGBT students. You can meet GSA on Friday at 8am at the front of the school to get a lanyard to wear explaining your are participating.

Attention Seniors

It is not too late to buy your grad party tickets. If you purchase them this month you will receive 15 extra raffle tickets for the grand prizes of a paddle board, flat screen tv, or mini I-pad. In May you can get 10 extra raffle tickets and in June only 5 extra tickets. Come to the front office to purchase your ticket for $35. Scholarships are also available.

Hack Club

Want to make an app, website, or game? Stop by Hack Club tomorrow after school in Marty Wilder’s Room STEM 118. We have pizza.

Graduation Announcement Pickup

Seniors, please come by the front office to pick up your graduation announcements that you ordered.

Lancer Pageant

The Lancer Pageant is tomorrow! Get your tickets at the planters during lunch or from any contestant or coordinator for $10. At the door they will be $15.

2017 CAS Fair

Tonight Eugene IHS is sponsoring a community service fair at South Eugene High School in the cafeteria from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Several community organizations will be there ready to share a little about their organizations and volunteer opportunities for students. All students are welcome.

Churchill Film Series

Today after school in the library we will begin the Churchill Film Series with the film 13th. Did you know that 2.3 million people are currently incarcerated in the United States — making America, by far, the biggest jailer on Earth? Think about that. Sponsored by Black Student Union, Latino Student Union and Bookworm Club. Because serious times calls for serious conversations.
