Technology Notice

Attention Seniors and other staff/students leaving 4J: Once you graduate, or otherwise leave 4J, your 4J email, 4J Google drive, and 4J Files1 are no longer accessible. Copy your data to an external drive or to your personal Google drive before you go.

Clubs Today

Young Republicans meet at lunch in the IHS Hall, Interact Club meets at lunch in F36; Anime Club meets from 3:30-4:30 in H23; Key Club meets at lunch in F55; Pacific Islander Club meets at lunch in C8.

Volleyball

Volleyball will be selling Churchill stickers at the planters at lunch for $3.

Young Women’s Fire Camp

Applications are now available on the table in front of the school-to-career office and in the career center.

Tradeswomen’s Career Fair

Field Trip permission slips are due for the Tradeswomen’s Career Fair and the Eugene Technology tour. Leave them in the school-to-career office in the STEM building.

LCC Placement Testing

LCC Placement testing in math, reading comprehension, and sentence skills will be on Monday, May 21st at 3:45 p.m. in STEM 118. Please bring your L number and a photo ID. For more information, see Mary Beth in the School-to-Career office in the STEM building.

Attention Writers and Poets—Both Students and Staff

Submit 1 to 2 short stories or poems to be published in the first ever Churchill book of literature.  The deadline is Friday. To submit a digital copy, look for one of the flyers hanging around school or put a paper copy of your work in the envelope outside F55.  

Seniors

Breakfast tickets are on sale at the planters or in B17. The cost is $5 and will be at the Eugene Faith Center on Polk and 15th.

If you have not filled out your graduation survey, you need to do it immediately. It is a graduation requirement. To fill out the survey, log into your Naviance account for the link to the survey on your homepage. See Sheree in the College and Career Center with questions.

This is the last week to vote for Senior Bests. Ballots are in the front office.

The Senior class is selling Lancer air fresheners for $1 this week at the planters. Come by and buy some, while supplies last.

Graduation is less than a month away. Now is the time to buy your Grad Party tickets during lunch at the planters for $35 and you still get 5 raffle tickets to go towards prizes.

Graduation tickets may be picked up during lunch only in Jill’s office.

Beach Volleyball

If you are interested in playing beach volleyball at the club carnival, pick up a sign-up sheet in the front office.

Boys’ Golf

Congratulations to the boys’ golf team who finished 5th in state as a team and to Dylan Adams who came in 6th as an individual. Way to go!

Sports

Today: Softball at Junction City at 5 pm: Release at 2:15 pm;  Athletic Recognition Night: Churchill celebrates Seniors that are going on to compete at college: 6 pm in the auditorium

Thursday: State Tennis at Portland Tennis Center: Youha Tanaka and Alle Banna Released all day

Friday:  State Tennis at Portland Tennis Center: Youha Tanaka and Alle Banna Released all day;  Softball at Lebanon for 5 pm State Game: Release at 12:30 pm; Baseball hosting Silverton at 5 pm for State Game: Release at 3 pm;  State Track Released all day
