Thespian Club’s Pastathon

Thespian Club is hosting a Pastathon at Pastini’s restaurant in Eugene. Simply have a meal at Pastini’s today or tomorrow and mention CHS Thespians. Half of all net profit for those days will be donated to CHS Thespian Club. See you there!

Strings on Wednesdays

Calling all strings players – Starting this week all violinists, cellists, and bassists are invited to come play in a string ensemble in the band room starting at 8:30am Wednesday morning. Any questions, talk to Mudd.

Volunteer & Career Opportunities

Eugene Public Library – April 13th 14th, and 15th ~ help with set up and sale.

Olive Plaza Apartments – Looking for entry level reception, customer service, and office administrative duties. Monday through Friday ~ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. These shifts can be split up.

McCornack Elementary – Recesses/lunch help. Two shifts: 9:25-10:10 and 11:05-12:25. Get a free lunch during the second shift.

Please come to the college and career center for more information.

The Eugene-Springfield NAACP is hosting a free scholarship and financial aid workshop this Saturday from 11-noon at the OSAC office. See your counselor for more information.

Leadership Canned Food Drive

The Restocking the Stocking Canned Food Drive is next Monday through Friday. The competition is between 2nd period classes. The winning class will receive a pizza party.

Poetry Night

Open Mic Poetry Night is tonight at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Churchill students and community members will be showcasing original works.  Donations will be accepted at this event to support Churchill’s Theater Department.

Kennedy Middle School needs volunteers in the classroom. If you have a free period and need community service hours, please fill out the purple application form found in the Career Center or outside the School-to-Career office in the STEM building.
