Lancer Cash

Bring your Lancer Cash to the planters today at lunch to trade for cookies.  This is your last chance! All cookies must go!

PE Lockers

Any students that have clothes in the locker room, you must clean out your PE lockers STAT.  Today all gets donated.

Churchill Students and Staff

If you are looking for something to do tonight, come to the first annual Churchill Football Barbecue Bowl. Churchill football players will be playing in a spring scrimmage with a BBQ dinner for everyone in attendance afterwards. Scrimmage starts at 5:15pm and the BBQ will be at 6:00pm.  Players are currently selling tickets and tickets will be available at the event. Entry into the event that includes a BBQ dinner is $10.00. There will also be a raffle drawing for $500 cash. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1.00 each at the event. Come out and support the Lancer Football program.

Senior breakfast tickets are on sale for $5 in B17 or at the planters. The breakfast is before graduation rehearsal on Tuesday, June 12th at the Faith Center from 8-9:00 am. Grad rehearsal is from 9:30-11am at the Hult Center.

Seniors’ library books and textbooks are due back in the library so you can get your diploma.

The Job Fair is today! Come apply for jobs at the Duck Store, RISE Services, Avalon Health Care, Churchill Estates, Fred Meyer, Target, Lowe’s, Jerry’s, Home Depot, and more places! If you have a free 5th period you may arrive at 2:15, all other students may come at 3:30. Duck Store applicants must be 18 and attending UO in the fall.

CHS Football

Club Carnival is today during lunch in the courtyard. There will be a dunk tank, volleyball, cornhole, tug of war, cotton candy, music, games, prizes, all your favorite clubs, and an extended lunch. Come out and enjoy the fun.

ASU will be selling rice bowls at the Club Carnival. Check the posters around school for prices.

Class Elections have been extended through lunch today. Voting is online. Sophomores, don’t forget to vote for your junior class president.

CHS Choir

Do you like to sing, get school credit, and go on trips performing and competing? Auditions for next year’s award-winning Concert Choir and Downing Street Singers are today in the choir room. Sign up for your spot on the choir room door and prepare 30 seconds of a song that you sound your best on. If you’re auditioning for Downing Street Singers, the song must be jazz and for Concert Choir the song can be any genre.

Community Service Opportunities

Adventure Children’s Museum is looking for help at the admissions desk and gift shop. You may intern as graphic designers, exhibit designers, read stories, and more.

A Child for Every Family – Many types of volunteer opportunities exist including website, blogging, assistants, and events, etc.

Bags of Love – Provides comfort bags to children who are in crises. Ongoing help is needed sewing and filling bags.

Beyond War – Read and review books, help/coach with our social media presence, translate our pamphlets into a foreign language, or start a discussion group regarding The Third Side by William Ury, How We Fight and How Can We Stop, or The Nonviolence Handbook by Michael Nagler.

Cascades Raptor Center – Work with all kinds of animals;  morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Must be 18.
