Congratulations

Congratulations to Kai Isaia, winner of the Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs award. Kai’s dedication to service at Churchill and in the community paid off. Kai will receive $1000 now and her application will go to the national competition for a chance to win $4000. Way to go Kai.

Spaceflight Experiment

Students who participated in the Spaceflight experiment proposals and the spaceflight patch design contest may pick up their achievement certificates and flight patch in the front office today.

The City of Springfield is currently looking to hire 12 individuals for summer employment. Starting salary is $10.68 per hour. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to meet Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industry standards for operating equipment by the time of hire and have a valid Oregon driver’s license. For directions on how to apply, please pick up a flyer in the career center or outside the STEM Building office.

The “Color Me Rad” 5k run is Saturday April 1st. Volunteers are needed on Friday the 31st from 2:30-6:30 to check in runners, on Saturday from 8:00-11:00 am to work the color stations, hand out water, check people in or helping in the swag tent and finally from 10:00-1:00 for course clean up. Every volunteer receives a t-shirt. The run begins at CrossFit Eugene at Valley River. If you are interested see Ms Wilgus in Rm B-17 for more information.

Attention Seniors: Today is your last chance to earn 20 extra raffle tickets by purchasing your Grad Party Ticket.
