ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL ASSISTANT

for students who are interested in working with younger students.
Our feeder schools value CHS students working with them in a variety
of ways and students can earn Elective credit or Community Service
hours.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Students who have jobs are able to receive up to three Elective
credits for Work Experience.
SCHOOL TO CAREER
The School to Career Hall and Office is located in
the main front office area behind the staff mailboxes across from
the Finance office, outside and inside the Registrar’s office.
The walls in the hallway are covered with information
and opportunities relating to Careers, CAMs, Jobs, Work Environment,
Resumes, Community Service/Volunteer Opportunities and Ideas, Community
Happenings, Entrepreneuralism and Small Business, Apprenticeships,
Internships, Job Shadows and just plain interesting things.
There is also a table in the hallway where you can
pick up the latest information about resumes, interviews, work environment,
skills and a variety of other information. Any material on this
table is meant for you take, read and use. The Oregon State Employment
Department puts out an excellent OREGON CAREERS newspaper in English
& Spanish, with a variety of articles and information. These
are located on the table.
You are welcome to browse the hallway any time and
come in the Registrar’s office, where I am located, any time.
This is also where you can pick up Food Handler Test study booklets
and take the test.

Got Scrip?
Through the purchase of scrip from Churchill High School, you contribute
to helping current, up-to-date technology be available to our students.
Scrip is used just like cash, it costs you nothing extra, and Churchill
receives five percent of your purchase from Safeway. Scan your Albertson’s
card for all purchases, excluding stamps and video rentals, and
Albertson’s pays Churchill a percentage of the receipts. See
the following order form to buy Safeway scrip and obtain an Albertson
Community Partner Card.
