Pros |
Cons |
| Eudora |
- Allows you to easily open attachments
- Allows you to view the annoying formatting placed in e-mail
by other Eudora users
- Downloaded copies of mail are still available if you can't
reach the network
|
- Must be installed and set up on each machine, including
your address book
- Others can send mail as you from your machine without
knowing your password
- Others can read mail you've downloaded without knowing
your password
- Makes it easier to get attachments, and so, easier to get
viruses
|
| WebMail |
- You can read your mail from any machine without installing
or setting up software
- Your address book is available from any machine
- You can download attachments (depending on the browser
you use)
|

browser and version you're using
