Spirit Week:

SPIRIT week is this week – Show your lancer spirit by wearing: Tomorrow – Peace/Hippie Day, Thursday – Jungle Day and Friday – LANCER PRIDE Day

GSA:

GSA meets today at lunch in room F-49.

Homecoming:

Homecoming tickets are on sale now at the Student Store. The prices are $15.00 with ASB, and $20.00 without ASB, couples are $30.00 and it’s $25.00 at the door. Tickets are sold before school, at lunch and after school this week only. Get your tickets today!!!

Career Center:

Check out two different colleges in the Career Center today. First learn about the power of a small college with Division 3 sports, come check out Linfield College at noon. Want a bigger school? The University of Oregon will be here at 1:30pm.

Drama:

Come see West End’s production of: “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” Directed by Churchill Senior Selena Gregory. Come see the show for $7.00 General, and $5.00 for Students and Seniors. Our show is running November 1st, 2nd, 8th, and 9th at 7:30pm and a Sunday matinee on November 10th at 2:00pm. 50% of all profits are donated to the local charity Women Space.

Art Club:

Come help us complete a Martin Luther King Jr. themed mural! If you love being creative and painting, Art Club in B-1 is the place to be! Art Club meets at noon on Thursdays.

Invisible Children Club:

Come make a difference in our world! Give something back to others, while having fun. That’s what the IC Club is all about. Come and bring your lunch to room B-1.

Model United Nations:

Model United Nations will meet on Thursday, at lunch in room J-19. Anyone interested is welcome to join. For more information come to the IHS Office.

International Study abroad Fair:

Learn more about international study and travel opportunities by attending the regional International Study Abroad Fair on Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:00pm in the Churchill’s Cafeteria. This event is free of charge and all interested Lane County students and parent are encouraged to attend.

Career Center:

The Dar Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest are now taking place. One national winner will receive a $5,000 dollar scholarship, 8 national winners will receive $500 and a state winner will receive $250. If interested in applying for this scholarship, contact the career center.

Need Community Service Hours? Spencer Creek Grange is looking for students to volunteer at their annual Haunted House on October 25th, 26th and 27th. Come to the Career Center for more information.
