Attention Seniors: Lane Community College Placement testing in Math, Reading and Writing wil be Thursday, May 28th directly after school in the STEM Conference Room.  Please report to the STEM Building with your ID and L#.  For more information, please see Mary Beth in the School-to-Careers office in the STEM Building.


Grad Night Party tickets and T-shirts are now available and on sale daily in the student lounge during lunch.  If you pre-ordered, come by our table and pick up yours today.


Attention Lancers!  Our last spirit week is next week.  Tuesday is Lancer Day, Wednesday is College Day, Thursday is Hawaiin Day, and Friday is Jersey Day.

Powder Puff:

Next Friday, is the Powder Puff football game.  Come support your Lady Lancers!  All you need is 5 cans of food to get in.  The game starts at 6:30pm at the turf.

Club Carnival:

Come join us at Club Carnival at the rock during lunch next Friday.  There will be games, a bar-b-que, and much more.


Prom pictures are in.  Come pick them up in rooom B-17.

Lancer Pageant:

The Lancer Pageant DVD’s should be here by next Friday.  Please stop by room B-17 to pick them up.


Book Due Dates:  Library Books – Seniors, Wednesday, May 27th.  Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors – Friday May 29th.  Textbooks, you may keep them until the last day of school, return them now if you don’t need them.


Important GSA meeting on Tuesday at lunch.  We will be nominating officers for next year.  Please attend and let your voice be heard.


If you are a NHS senior, please verify your 20 hours of NHS community service with Tibor and get your graduation cord.  These hours can be verified with your CHS community service log or your managebac log.


This is the last week to reserve a yearbook.  After today, the price goes up and there are no guarantees.  Check the yearbook list outside Hoffman’s room, G-13, to make sure your yearbook has been reserved. If you have a textbook on your record from previous years, your yearbook will be held until the textbook is returned.


Tonight, LSU is hosting a free movie night at 6:30pm, in the auditorium.  “The Freedom Writers” will be shown.  Free popcorn.


The School-to-Careers office now accepting resumes from sophomores and juniors who are interested in 2015-2016 Work Study jobs at local schools.  Get paid and get class credit.  You must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be on track for graduation.  See Mary Beth in the STEM building office.

Senior Breakfast:

Tickets for Senior breakfast will be on sale at the planters today, during lunch.  Each ticket will cost you $10.00 and will give you entry into the breakfast and the opportunity to win cool door prizes.
