Clubs

Today: GSA meets at lunch in K8

Tomorrow: BSU meets Tuesday during lunch in K8; Seeking Jesus Club meets at lunch in G10; NASU meets at lunch in h32

Wednesday: Jewish Cultural Union meets in J11 during lunch; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Theatre Tech meets at 3:45 in the auditorium

Thursday: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; The Divergence and Disability Alliance meets at lunch in F37; APISU meets at lunch in F55.

Friday: FSU meets in the auditorium at lunch; WISE meets at lunch in the STEM conference room.

Incompletes

This is a final reminder for any students with T2 and T3 Incompletes from last year. The deadline to submit all needed work is November 9th at 4 pm, no late work will be accepted after that date and any outstanding Incomplete will be changed to a final grade of an F which cannot be changed. All students with Incompletes were informed via their school emails on September 22nd, please check your student email to see if you were sent a message.

Fall Sport PE Credit

 If you played and completed a whole season of a CHS Fall sport this year, make an appointment with your counselor to complete a form for .25 PE credit. All student-athletes are eligible to earn up to .5 PE credit for competing in a CHS sport this year. To learn more and confirm that you qualify for this special credit, reach out to your counselor ASAP. All forms must be completed and submitted to the registrar no later than 2 weeks after your season has ended.

Girls Basketball

Anyone interested in playing girls’ basketball this season there is a preseason practice tonight at 6:30 in the gym.

Fall Festival

Our annual Fall Festival is happening tomorrow from 1:55-3:30. Students can choose from a variety of fun activities. There will be face painting, pumpkin painting, tie dye, cotton candy, karaoke, a photo booth, a costume contest, and more! It is going to be a great time you won’t want to miss!

Halloween Costume Expectations

Halloween costumes are encouraged tomorrow. Costumes must follow the 4j district and CHS dress codes as outlined in the Student Handbook. They must not distract from learning; no masks may be worn and no fake weapons are allowed.

CHS Fall Play

CHS Thespians’ fall play, William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”, is opening this Thursday, November 2 with additional performances on November 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11. Set on a space station somewhere in the future, come and be thrilled by this classic tale of magic, love, revenge, and the willingness to forgive. Tickets are $10 for adults and only $7 for students. Curtains are at 7:00 pm. You can purchase your tickets from any CHS Thespian, using the QR Code found on our posters, or even just at the doors. 

College & Military Visits

Wednesday: US Marine NROTC meets at lunch in F36.

Friday: Oregon Air National Guard meets at lunch in F36.
