Clubs

  • Today: GSA meets at lunch in K8; WISE meets at lunch in the STEM conference room
  • Tomorrow: NASU meets at lunch in h32.
  • Wednesday: Jewish Cultural Union meets at lunch in J11; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Theatre Tech meets at 3:45 in the auditorium. 
  • Thursday: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; APISU meets at lunch in F55; Mind Body Divergence Alliance meets at lunch in F37; Seeking Jesus Club meets in G10 at lunch.
  • Friday: FSU meets at lunch in the auditorium.

 

International Walk and Bike to School Day

Students and staff: Do you want to make a difference? If you walk, bike, bus, or carpool to school on Wednesday, October 4th, you can help reduce carbon emissions and enter a raffle. Rachel Carson students will be at the front doors near the office to pass out chocolate and register participants in our raffle. Prizes include gift cards to Bagel Sphere and Dutch Bros, skateboards, and Hydroflask bottles. Help us set a new record for participation at CHS by giving up your car for one day on Wednesday, October 4!

 

Homecoming Guest Forms

Homecoming Guest Forms are due today at 4:00. Guest forms are required in order to bring someone from another school.

 

Dropping Classes

The last day to drop a class without a WD/WF and withdrawal paperwork is Wednesday. If you are thinking about dropping a class make sure to get your request in to your counselor by the end of the school day on Wednesday to avoid extra paperwork and a WD/WF on your transcript.

 

College & Military Visits

  • Friday: Syracuse University virtual visit at lunch in F36.

  • Thursday: JV, JV2, and Varsity Volleyball vs. Thurston at Churchill at 5:30 and 6:45; JV Girls Soccer vs. Sheldon at Churchill at 5:00; Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Crater at Crater at 6:30.
  • Friday: Varsity Football vs. Springfield at Churchill at 7:00.
  • Saturday: Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Crater at Crater at 12:00; Cross Country Harrier Classic at Bryant Park at 11:30; Cheer Game Day at Sherwood, time TBD.
