Clubs

• Today: Film and Cinema Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Interact Club meets at lunch in F39; Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; APISU meets at lunch in F55; Jewish Cultural Union meets at lunch in F53.

CHS Grad Night Fundraiser

• Papa’s Pizza Parlor on West 11th is hosting a fundraiser for the CHS Grad Party tonight. Pick up a flyer in the front office to bring to Papa’s Pizza, where 50% of the proceeds go towards the event.

Cross-Cultural Club

• Cross-Cultural Club is a place for people who grew up between cultures to connect. This includes people who grew up overseas, people whose families are from another country or culture, and other multicultural people. Our first meeting is next Monday, May 8. Hope to see you there!

Thespian Spirit Week

• Next week is thespian spirit week where we are celebrating all the work it takes to put a show on the stage and the opening of the spring musical, Seussical!
  • Monday: Thing Day (Twin Day).
  • Tuesday: Thneed Day (knitted/bright clothing).
  • Wednesday: Dress as your Favorite Seuss Character Day
  • Thursday: Opening Night Drip (fancy clothes).
  • Friday: Your day to represent the colors of the International Thespian Society which are Blue and Gold. There will also be installations in the library and an assembly on Friday previewing the musical.

Library Coloring Competition

• All next week the library is holding a coloring competition with the prize being a ticket to see CHS’s spring musical, Seussical! Come down to the library and illustrate your heart out for a chance to be chosen by our wonderful librarians as one of three winners! Winners will be announced over the announcements next Friday!

Unified Basketball

• Unified Basketball players– please return your jerseys to Alia in H23. There will be a group photo in front of the rock today at 12:20.

Recaudación de fondos de la noche de graduación de CHS

• Papa’s Pizza Parlor en West 11th está organizando una recaudación de fondos para la CHS Grad Party esta noche. Recoja un volante en la oficina principal para llevarlo a Papa’s Pizza, donde el 50% de las ganancias se destinan al evento.

Cross-Cultural Club

• Cross-Cultural Club es para personas que crecieron entre culturas se conecten. Esto incluye a las personas que crecieron en el extranjero, las personas cuyas familias son de otro país o cultura y otras personas multiculturales. Nuestra primera reunión es el próximo lunes 8 de mayo. ¡Espero verlos allí!

Semana festiva de Thespians

• La próxima semana es la semana festiva donde celebraremos todo el trabajo que se necesita para poner un espectáculo en el escenario y la apertura del musical de primavera, ¡Seussical!
  • Lunes: Día de la Cosa (Día del Gemelo).
  • Martes: Thneed Day (ropa de punto/brillante).
  • Miércoles: Día de vestirse como su personaje favorito de Seuss
  • Jueves: Noche de estreno (ropa elegante).
  • Viernes: Tu día para representar los colores de la International Thespian Society que son Azul y Oro. También habrá instalaciones en la biblioteca y una asamblea el viernes para ver el musical.

Concurso de colorear de la biblioteca

• ¡Toda la próxima semana la biblioteca llevará a cabo una competencia de colorear y el premio será un boleto para ver el musical de primavera de CHS, Seussical! ¡Ven a la biblioteca e ilustra con todo tu corazón para tener la oportunidad de ser elegido por nuestros maravillosos bibliotecarios como uno de los tres ganadores! ¡Los ganadores serán anunciados en los anuncios el próximo viernes!

Baloncesto unificado

• Jugadores de Unified Basketball: entrega sus jerseys a Alia en H23. Habrá una foto de grupo frente a la roca a las 12:20.

• ¡CHS Thespians está buscando acomodadores para su musical de primavera, Seussical! Si está interesado en vender boletos, vender concesiones, tomar boletos o repartir programas (¡y poder ver el espectáculo gratis!) Consulte al Sr. Patton en H8, envíele un correo electrónico a patton_a@4j.lane.edu, o asista a la reunión del Thespian Club hoy.
