Clubs

• Today: Film and Cinema Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Interact Club meets at lunch in F39; Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; APISU meets at lunch in F55; Jewish Cultural Union meets at lunch in F53.
• Tomorrow: FSU and Climate Action Club meet at lunch in the Auditorium; Mind Body Divergence Alliance meets in F39 during lunch.

Snacks

• For the remainder of the year during the 15-minute break, there are grab-and-go snacks in the cafeteria.  Please stop by the cafeteria, enter your student ID number, and grab some food to help you get through until lunchtime.  Each classroom also has granola packets if you are hungry during other class periods as well.

LEAP Packets

• Seniors, if you haven’t picked up your completed LEAP packet yet, please come to the front office to pick it up.

W.I.S.E. SYMPOSIUM

• Come to the 11th annual W.I.S.E. SYMPOSIUM on Wednesday, May 24th, at Churchill from 4:30 to 8:30. Enjoy workshops and presentations around the theme of Biology: life through different lenses. Register at the planters during lunch today and tomorrow. It’s free and there will be pizza and prizes, too.

Student Store

• It is not too late! Stop by the Student Store at lunch – every purchase gets a ticket to enter the mystery bag raffle!

Thespian Spirit Week

• It is Thespian Spirit Week! We are celebrating all the work CHS students do to put on a production. We are having a coloring contest in the library to win free tickets to the show and a preview assembly on Friday. Here are our dress-up days:
  • Today: Opening Night Drip (fancy clothes).
  • Tomorrow: Thespian Society Day (wear Blue and Gold)

CHS Spring Musical

• The CHS Spring Musical, Seussical, opens tonight! Inspired by the works of Dr. Seuss, this musical follows Horton the Elephant, JoJo the Who, and Gertrude McFuzz through their adventures in the Jungle of Nool, Whoville, and beyond. Showings are tonight, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 at 7 PM and May 14 and 21 at 2 PM in the CHS Auditorium. Tickets are $7 for students and $15 for general admission. You can buy tickets from CHS Thespians during lunch, or simply at the door! This is one you simply cannot miss!

Library Coloring Competition

• All this week the library is holding a coloring competition with the prize being a ticket to see CHS’s spring musical, Seussical! Come down to the library and illustrate your heart out for a chance to be chosen by our wonderful librarians as one of three winners! Winners will be announced over the announcements on Friday!

Botanas

• Durante el resto del año, durante el descanso de 15 minutos, hay botanas para llevar en la cafetería. Pase por la cafetería, ingrese su número de identificación de estudiante y tome algo de comida para ayudarlo a pasar hasta la hora del almuerzo. Cada salón de clases también tiene paquetes de granola si tiene hambre durante otros períodos de clase.

• Seniors, si aún no han recogido su paquete LEAP completo, pasen por la oficina para recogerlo.

W.I.S.E. SYMPOSIUM

• Ven a la 11 anual de W.I.S.E. SIMPOSIUM el miércoles 24 de mayo en Churchill de 4:30 a 8:30. Disfruta de talleres y presentaciones en torno al tema de Biología: la vida a través de diferentes lentes. Regístrese en los planters durante el almuerzo de hoy y mañana. Es gratis y también habrá pizza y premios.

La tienda de estudiantes

• ¡No es demasiado tarde! Pase por la tienda de estudiantes durante almuerzo: ¡cada compra obtiene un boleto para participar en la rifa de la bolsa misteriosa!

Semana festiva de teatral

• ¡Es la semana festiva de teatral! Estamos celebrando todo el trabajo que hacen los estudiantes de CHS para presentar una producción. Tendremos un concurso de colorear en la biblioteca para ganar boletos gratis para el espectáculo y una asamblea preliminar el viernes. Estos son nuestros días de festivas:
  • Hoy: Noche de estreno (ropa elegante).
  • Mañana: Día de la Sociedad Dramática (vestirse de azul y oro)

Musical de primavera de CHS

• ¡El musical de primavera de CHS, Seussical, abre esta noche!
