West End Awards

• CHS West End Performing Arts is having its annual West End Awards tonight at 7pm in the CHS Auditorium. If you were involved in Band, Choir, or Theatre in any way this year you and your family are heartily invited to attend. Let’s spend some time celebrating all of the amazing performance art created this year!

AP Calculus BC Meeting

• Any student who signed up for next year’s AP Calculus BC course should attend the informational meeting this Wednesday at lunch in Mr. Patton’s room (H8). We will talk about course expectations, summer work, and answer any questions or concerns prospective students have.

Medical Pathway

• Attention all students who forecasted for Anatomy & Physiology or Medical Terminology for next year, please stop by Room B4 today or tomorrow at lunch to meet your teacher, receive your summer terms, list and get fitted for scrubs! That’s B4, by the auditorium. Tuesday June 13th and Wednesday June 14th at lunch!  Thank you!

Final Thespian Club Meeting of the Year

• Our final Thespian Club Meeting of the Year will be this Thursday in Mr. Patton’s room at lunch. If you’ve participated in theatre at all this year (whether acting or tech) you are strongly encouraged to attend. We will be celebrating the year, and discussing hopes and plans for the next. See you there!

Library Books Due!

• All textbooks and library books are due this Thursday!  Pick a cool water bottle sticker when you return your book, while supplies last. And don’t forget to borrow some books for fun summer reading!

Get your FREE student LTD transit pass before the end of the school year!

• All students in 4J schools can get a student pass to ride Lane Transit District (LTD) buses for free. Student transit passes can be used to travel anywhere within the LTD service area. Student passes can be used at any time—after school, on weekends and during school breaks, as well as to get to and from school each day.
• To get a free LTD student transit pass, available as a tap card or Umo smartphone app, middle and high school students can request their own passes from the front office. Passes are valid from September 1 of the current school year to September 30 of the following year and can be renewed by the school each year for ongoing free service.

Work Study

• Work Study positions are now open for current sophomores and juniors. Work at a Churchill area school next school year, get paid, and get class credit. Students must be at least 16 years old, with a GPA minimum of 2.0, and have very good attendance. Positions are open at Adams, ATA, César Chávez, McCornack, and Twin Oaks schools. Interested students can drop off their resumes to Mary Beth in the School-to-Career Office in the STEM building.

Premios de West End

• Las artes escénicas de CHS West End tendrán sus premios anuales West End esta noche a las 7:00 en el auditorio de CHS. Reunión AP Cálculo BC

Reunión final del club Thespian del año

• Nuestra última Reunión del Año del Club de Thespian será este jueves en el salón del Sr. Patton durante el almuerzo. Si ha participado en teatro durante todo este año (ya sea actuación o tecnología), le recomendamos encarecidamente que asista. Estaremos celebrando el año y discutiendo esperanzas y planes para el próximo. ¡Te veo allí!

¡Libros de la biblioteca vencidos!

• Los libros de texto y de la biblioteca se vencen el último día de clases. Elija una calcomanía de botella de agua fresca cuando devuelva su libro, hasta agotar existencias. ¡Y no se olvide de pedir prestados algunos libros para divertirse leyendo durante el verano!

¡Obtenga su pase de transporte LTD para estudiantes GRATIS antes de que finalice el año escolar!

• Todos los estudiantes de las escuelas 4J pueden obtener un pase para viajar en los autobuses del Distrito de Tránsito de Lane (LTD) de forma gratuita. Los pases de transporte para estudiantes se pueden usar para viajar a cualquier lugar dentro del área de servicio de LTD. Los pases para estudiantes se pueden usar en cualquier momento: después de la escuela, los fines de semana y durante las vacaciones escolares, así como para ir y volver de la escuela todos los días.
