Clubs

• Today: BSU meets Tuesday during lunch in K8; NASU meets at lunch in H22; Seeking Jesus Club meets at lunch in G10
• Tomorrow: Jewish Cultural Union meets in J11 during lunch; Climate Action Club meets at lunch in STEM 100; Theatre Tech meets at 3:45 in the auditorium
• Thursday: Thespian Club meets at lunch in H8; The Divergence and Disability Alliance meets at lunch in F37; APISU meets at lunch in F55.
• Friday: FSU meets in the auditorium at lunch; WISE meets at lunch in the STEM conference room.

Student ID Cards

• If you had your picture taken during picture retake day, please visit Jane in the front office during your free time to pick up your student ID. 

Extended Day Program

• Juniors and Seniors: Do you feel you’re behind schedule in the number of credits needed for graduation? If so, consider joining the Extended Day Program where you can earn .75 credits per class, per quarter, that’s an additional .25 credits per class! Classes offered include Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science. Dinner and transportation home from your neighborhood school are both included.
• See your school counselor to find out what will work for you as you plan to graduate on time!

Incompletes

• This is a final reminder for any students with T2 and T3 Incompletes from last year. The deadline to submit all needed work is November 9th at 4 pm, no late work will be accepted after that date and any outstanding Incomplete will be changed to a final grade of an F which cannot be changed. All students with Incompletes were informed via their school emails on September 22nd, please check your student email to see if you were sent a message.

Fall Sport PE Credit

•  If you played and completed a whole season of a CHS Fall sport this year, make an appointment with your counselor to complete a form for .25 PE credit. All student-athletes are eligible to earn up to .5 PE credit for competing in a CHS sport this year. To learn more and confirm that you qualify for this special credit, reach out to your counselor ASAP. All forms must be completed and submitted to the registrar no later than 2 weeks after your season has ended.

Library Books

• Your library books are probably due again. Please stop by the library to return or renew them.

Fall Festival

• Our annual Fall Festival is happening this afternoon from 1:55 to 3:30 p.m.. There will be face painting, pumpkin painting, tie dye, cotton candy, karaoke, a photo booth, a costume contest, and more! 

CHS Fall Play

• CHS Thespians’ fall play, William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”, is opening this Thursday, November 2 with additional performances on November 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11. Set on a space station somewhere in the future, come and be thrilled by this classic tale of magic, love, revenge, and the willingness to forgive. Tickets are $10 for adults and only $7 for students. Curtains are at 7:00 p.m. You can purchase your tickets from any CHS Thespian, using the QR Code found on our posters, or at the doors. 

College & Military Visits

• Tomorrow: US Marine NROTC meets at lunch in F36.
• Friday: Oregon Air National Guard meets at lunch in F36.

Programa de jornada extendida

• Juniors y Seniors: ¿Siente que está atrasado en la cantidad de créditos necesarios para graduarse? Incompletos 

• Este es un recordatorio final para cualquier estudiante con T2 y T3 incompletos del año pasado. La fecha límite para enviar todo el trabajo necesario es el 9 de noviembre a las 4 pm, no se aceptará ningún trabajo retrasado después de esa fecha y cualquier Incompleto pendiente se cambiará a una calificación final de F que no se puede cambiar. Todos los estudiantes con notas incompletas fueron informados a través de los correos electrónicos de su escuela el 22 de septiembre. Revise el correo electrónico de su estudiante para ver si se le envió un mensaje.

Crédito de educación física deportiva de otoño

• Si jugó y completó una temporada completa de un deporte de otoño de CHS este año, programe una cita con su consejero para completar un formulario para obtener .25 de crédito de educación física. Todos los estudiantes-atletas son elegibles para obtener hasta 0,5 créditos de educación física por competir en un deporte de CHS este año. Para obtener más información y confirmar que califica para este crédito especial, comuníquese con su consejero lo antes posible. Todos los formularios deben completarse y enviarse al registrador a más tardar 2 semanas después de que haya finalizado su temporada.

Libros de la biblioteca

• Probablemente los libros de la biblioteca ya estén disponibles nuevamente. Por favor pase por la biblioteca para devolverlos o renovarlos.

Festivo de Otoño

• Nuestro Festival de Otoño anual se llevará a cabo esta tarde de 1:55 a 3:30. ¡Habrá pintura de caras, pintura de calabazas, teñido anudado, algodón de azúcar, karaoke, un fotomatón, un concurso de disfraces y más!

Obra de Otoño

• La obra de otoño de CHS Thespians, “La tempestad” de William Shakespeare, se estrenará este jueves 2 de noviembre con presentaciones adicionales el 3, 4, 9, 10 y 11 de noviembre. Ambientada en una estación espacial en algún lugar del futuro, ven y emocínate por esta clásica historia de magia, amor, venganza y voluntad de perdonar. Los boletos cuestan $10 para adultos y solo $7 para estudiantes. El telón es a las 7:00 pm. Puedes adquirir tus entradas en cualquier actor de CHS, utilizando el código QR que se encuentra en nuestros carteles o en las puertas.
