Staff Bulletin: January 11, 2005

We will have our staff meeting during our late start tomorrow, January
12th, beginning at 7:45am in the library. You have been emailed the
agenda.

Curriculum areas will be meeting during our late start on Wednesday,
January 19th. Curriculum areas will meet to discuss budget requests and
to plan curriculum and course offerings for next year.

We will have three late starts in the month of February. February 2nd
will be a staff development late start, February 9th will be for a
staff meeting, and on February 16th curriculum areas will meet.

Friday, January 28th is a no-school, grading day. Semester grades are
due to MaryAnn by 8:00am, Monday, January 31st.

The CHS 8th Grade Curriculum Presentation night is Tuesday, February
8th, from 7-9pm in the auditorium.

The CHS International High School 8th Grade Curriculum Presentation
night is Thursday, February 10th, from 7-9pm in the auditorium.

The Jefferson 8th Grade Parent Information Night & Curriculum Fair is
Wednesday, February 16th, from 7-9pm in the library.

The Kennedy 8th Grade Parent Information Night & Curriculum Fair is
Thursday, February 17th, from 7-9pm in the library.

I want to express my appreciation ahead of time for all of the hard
work that will be going into the budget and staffing process in the
next two months. There will be many Site Council, Curriculum Council,
Curriculum area and Staff meetings over this time and a lot of
decisions to be made that require much time on many staff members'
parts. Thank you in advance for your dedication.
