Homecoming/FallFest Week Activities
Our Homecoming football
game against Bend is next Friday the 29th and the Homecoming dance is Saturday
the 30th. They are still in need of
staff chaperones, so let Cindy know if you are able and willing to
chaperone.
FallFest week kicks off this coming Monday, Oct 25th. There
will be bands playing at lunch time, and various food offerings from some
of
our talented student union groups. All staff are encouraged to
participate in the festivities and dress-up days... in fact, the 4th
annual staff Halloween costume contest takes place that Wednesday! It
is a great way to show the kids our support. The themed days are:
4th Annual Staff Halloween Costume Contest
The fourth annual staff Halloween Costume Contest will be
on Wednesday, October 27th, to align with Fallfest/Homecoming week "Costume Day".
All
staff members are invited and encouraged to participate. There will be
a group photo at 8:30am at the rock, followed by refreshments in the
staff room. Top costumes and prizes for outstanding costumes will be
will be announced and awarded in the afternoon.
October Late Starts
Our second late start of the month, Wednesday, October
27th, will be
for Curriculum Areas to meet.
JoAnn Hueth Update
JoAnn Hueth's surgery was a success and she is presently in
rehab.
December/January
Newsletter
If you have articles you want to get in the December/January
newsletter, please email them to Karla by Monday, November 8th. Inserts
are due (copied) by the 12th.
Attendance Entry
Please make sure that your class attendance is entered in
an accurate and timely manner. Attendance is very important. Please have
your
attendance entered by 3:30pm daily.
Shooting Star Achievement Award
If you have an outstanding student or two in your class that
you'd like to recognize, we have Shooting Star Achievement awards available
from
Hollywood Video, via Spotlight on Education. This award entitles the
students to a free movie or game rental. Please let Karla know if you
would like to participate.
