Flexible Spending Plan Meeting, November 16th
-
November 15 through December 15 will be the open enrollment
period for the 4J Section 125 Flexible Spending Account Plan
for the 2004 calendar year (January to December). This program
allows all insurance-eligible employees to pay for out-of-pocket
health care costs such as co-pays, vision and dental, and even
child care expenses with pre-tax money. We have contracted
with Manley Administrative Services to assist us in administering
this program.
-
A Manley representative will visit Churchill on Tuesday,
November 16th during lunch in the staff room. The purpose of
this visit will be to answer individual questions you may have
about this benefit, as well as assist you in enrolling in the
plan. If you are unable to meet with Manley during this time,
you can still attend the District-wide informational meeting
that will be held at the Ed Center. Information about this
meeting will be sent out to staff in the near future.
-
Remember, the Flexible Spending Account is not extra insurance; rather it is
a way for our employees to save money by paying for their additional health
care expenses and/or child care with tax-free money. Manley employees are
not paid by commission, and will be on hand simply as a resource for our
staff.
-
Those who are currently enrolled in the Flexible Spending Account will receive
an enrollment packet from Manley Services via US mail. Employees that wish
to enroll for the first time can obtain an enrollment form at the school
informational meeting, or from the 4J employee benefits office (687-3491).
In addition, a supply of enrollment forms will be left in the staff room
after the informational meeting.
-
All enrollment forms must be completed and turned in to the 4J Risk Management
Office by Wednesday, December 15, 2004 before 5:00 pm.
