Minutes/Notes: Grant
- Funds for professional development decisions:
- Lance began with request for Chris Mudd ($687)
- Math request for one day retreat with two meals (up to $200).
- English retreat for curriculum alignment, etc.($580)
- The group decreased the funding for Chris lowered down to 600Š
Thiswas unofficially agreed upon as a maximum request amount.
Math and English money was passed and Dennis will explore alternate
funding
sources for release days/subs etcŠ Thus, we passed the English
request on a provisional basis. Total passed = $1380 total.
- Note: previous spending = $2537
CIM Follow-up
- Doug collected department goals.
- Doug requested checklist matrix from each department.
- Need to present ideas for CIM incentives for teachers and students
at a future meeting.
- Graduation requirements
- Dennis provided information on new graduation requirements
for 2006/07.
- We spoke briefly about where we are now and Dennis will invite
Betsy to our next meeting to continue this information.
- Lengthy discussion/brainstorm of approaches to meet new requirements
such as the extended application. We will investigate the ideas
produced by the other 4J schools.
- Open agenda
- Katy will give a copy of OEA grant information to all Curric.
Council member boxes.
- Audrey suggested that we add school schedule to future agenda.
- Dennis is working on a decision regarding the group who might
take lead on the schedule issue.
