  • Mr. Lancer will hold a March 7 basketball game; 6:30 p.m. vs. North. Parents and students can buy “points” for their team. Theresa suggests that Mr. Lancer candidates should go to classes and meet younger students. Mr. Lancer dance is March 11 in cafeteria, 8:30 to 10:30; adjustments will need to be made for a dance in the cafeteria. Staff chaperones needed. Papa’s Pizza night is March 8. Cold Stone Ice Cream store day is March 30. April 4 dinner is at 6th Street Grill; April 2 car wash at 7-11 on Chambers; 10 am to 2 pm. Pageant itself is April 13; 7p.m.

Curriculum Assembly

  • Mr. Presidio talked to the group about holding a Curriculum Assembly in March, but it is not yet on the calendar. As we did last year, we will have a special assembly schedule for that day. This activity is designed to help our students better understand the registration and forecasting process.

Old Business

  • We will make announcements this week concerning student access to a limited area of the hallway; this new policy will take effect next week.
Dennis will talk to Counseling Dept. about the textbook issue on the add/drop form.

New Business

  • Cindy suggested that 22 students from our sister city/school in Japan may be visiting our school on March 30. Leadership students will be needed to act as hosts and guides during lunch.
  • Dennis said that we may be visited by a group of teachers and administrators from two high schools in Hawaii on May 17.

Open

  • Nothing in this category today.
