Theresa read minutes; Tsunami Relief event
date corrected to May 6.
Leadership:

Pep assembly postponed; perhaps one in April
and one in May. Tsunami bracelets on sale for $1 in halls during
lunch. Leadership decided not to fund hallway sign; they wish
to use monies for sign in front of building.

Mr. Lancer will hold a March 7 basketball game;
6:30 p.m. vs. North. Parents and students can buy “points”
for their team. Theresa suggests that Mr. Lancer candidates
should go to classes and meet younger students. Mr. Lancer dance
is March 11 in cafeteria, 8:30 to 10:30; adjustments will need
to be made for a dance in the cafeteria. Staff chaperones needed.
Papa’s Pizza night is March 8. Cold Stone Ice Cream store
day is March 30. April 4 dinner is at 6th Street Grill; April
2 car wash at 7-11 on Chambers; 10 am to 2 pm. Pageant itself
is April 13; 7p.m.

Leadership proposes “Johnny Appleseed
Day,” to give out apple products to students during lunch.
Date TBA.

Leadership raises possibility of holding pep
assembly out on football field. The group will come back to
Operations with the detailed proposal.
Curriculum Assembly

Mr. Presidio talked to the group about holding
a Curriculum Assembly in March, but it is not yet on the calendar.
As we did last year, we will have a special assembly schedule
for that day. This activity is designed to help our students
better understand the registration and forecasting process.

New Business

Cindy suggested that 22 students from our sister
city/school in Japan may be visiting our school on March 30.
Leadership students will be needed to act as hosts and guides
during lunch.

Dennis said that we may be visited by a group
of teachers and administrators from two high schools in Hawaii
on May 17.
