Operations Minutes: April 12, 2005

Minutes

Zach talked about scheduling a Talent Show for April 25th. Tryouts will
be May 2-6. This was approved. He will be working more on this as he
will be the coordinator.
Hareem proposed an assembly for May, the Donít Drink & Drive pre-prom
assembly. May 19th and 12th were discussed. Because we have an assembly
schedule for the Relay for Life event on May 20th, it was decided that
May 19th would be a good balance. The Prom court would also be
announced. Hareem will look into an outside person to be able to come
and do the Drinking & Driving part.
Hareem proposed a Movie ìDrive-Inî (watch a movie outside on the
field, blankets, etc.) for May 13th. There is a Student Film Festival
that evening. Operations agreed this would be a fun idea.

Dennis talked to Todd about increasing distribution of tickets. Hareem
talked about student issues. Dennis will go to Executive Leadership to
begin working on a policy.

Leadership would really, really, really like to have an Aloha Dance.
This was discussed at great length and it was finally agreed that we
would allow the students to have the Aloha Dance OR the Movie Night.
Hareem will work on chaperones and make sure administrators can be
there. It will be discussed further at a later meeting.
