Leadership:

• Senior girls are meeting Wednesday, 1/18, during lunch to vote for Mr. Lancer candidates. Girls can vote up to 3 p.m.
• Sheldon Leadership students will be visiting our school on Thursday, 1/19. A continental breakfast will be served in the morning at 7:15 in the Career Center. Leadership meets at 7:30 in the Auditorium; lunch will be held in J19 and students will hold an open discussion on the day.
• Friday will be a 30 minute Pep Assembly schedule to accommodate an assembly to honor Winter Sports, Drama, and Mr. Lancer.
• Cheer Kids Clinic will be held on February 4 from 10 to 1 in the gym.
• Cheer State Competition will be held on February 11 @ the Portland Coliseum.
• Powder Puff vs. North is tentatively scheduled for March 10 at Churchill. There is also a Mr. Lancer dance that night
• The Sadie Hawkins Dance is scheduled for Feb. 18th from 8 to 11 p.m. Chaperones needed.

Feedback:

Very positive reports about the Martin Luther King Assembly last Friday! Some teachers have reported that an assembly schedule might be better for these sorts of events. If we did that and wanted to use the auditorium, we would need to run two shifts, or hold the event in the gym.

Congratulations to Curtis and the Rumors cast! Excellent production!
