  • Noon Activities - a young man has expressed interest in volunteering to organize and supervise intramurals in the gym during lunch on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Cindy will work with him on the proposal. All agreed that supervised noon activity would be a good thing for students and school climate.
  • Process Advocate - Theresa Hilkey reported the following concerns:
  • hot water inconsistent in the Art Room; Dennis will speak to Buddy;
  • Feedback wanted regarding students sent to the office; Cindy said she is working on a form for teachers; she also suggested that teachers e-mail the administrator for feedback; she also tries to speak to teachers so that she has a better understanding of the problem behavior.
  • Keys and students; Staff needs to be very careful about letting students use keys; this should only happen in limited circumstances and never with the outside key/ID card.
  • Teachers have wondered if the current library staff would be open to training student aides to copy materials for teachers;
  • Concern was expressed about possible student access to sensitive eSis records through the office. Only paid students have access to attendance, and they are restricted from other areas.

Respectfully submitted,

Dennis Biggerstaff
