Old Business;

Parking is getting better... There is increased warning / ticketing and students who are purchasing parking stickers to be legal. Please continue to let Karla know if someone is parked in your reserved space.

Birthday Cards - Those who wish to have their name removed from the birthday card list can email Karla with their request.

Leadership;

• Canned food drive is happening, during the next two weeks. They would like to ask that teachers promote it by reminding kids about it maybe prior to class, etc. Leadership kids are checking on the barrels to ensure food isn't being taken out of them and moved to other barrels, taken home, or thrown away. Teachers can also take the food and mark on the bag what class it belongs to.
• Working on a "pit" crew... a "group" for spirit / cheering etc. at games and events. They are working on ordering shirts and other prizes and incentives for the crew. Sportsmanship will be addressed to the group by Tim Carmichael and others, so the CHEERING remains on the up-and-up, sportsmanship-wise.
  If you have ideas about what the name of the crew should be, talk to a leadership student. They are having difficulties with the Lancer Mascot and coordinating a group name.
• Sadie Hawkins Dance is still trying to get planned. They are looking at possibly February 4th or 18th as dates.

New Business;

• IHS is hosting a Katrina Art Relief Sale on November 17th at SEHS Cafeteria from 7 - 9pm. Any student or staff member can donate art to the IHS office for the sale prior to that.
• Kelly Dahlgren is requesting a field trip on November 29th from 11 : 45am - 2pm to tour Sacred Heart Hospital. This is during class time, but students who have 4th period will be 20 minutes late to that class. Kelly will send out an email regarding this. This was approved.

Does the water filter in the staff room need to be changed? We will have a Maintenance person check on it.
