20, 2004
Back to Minutes Index
Open Agenda - All
-
Helen mentioned that we need to be true to
our start time. From now on we will begin with snacks at 3:20
and begin the meeting
on time at 3:30. Please do what you can to get here on time.
-
Don
raised a question regarding the parking lot situation that
was reviewed by the city in the last few years. The
issue has
seemingly been shelved and needs to be revisited. Perhaps
it can be added to a future agenda or passed on to Operations.
Serious
concerns abound on this issue. Let’s get it back on
the agenda and taken care of before someone is seriously
injured.
Dennis will follow up on this.
Open House Debrief – Dennis and all
Dennis spoke about this. General feedback from
parents was very positive. Evaluations support the success of this
evening.
1. Suggestions for improvement
2. Attendance: Up or down?
Parent Booster Club – Mary Lou and Dennis
-
Would like to re-establish the Parent Council.
-
In the meantime, the agenda of Booster Meetings
will be altered slightly to: include site council
minutes and general school information and then the more
typical booster type activities
and agendas.
-
Dennis and Mary Lou would like
the group to better represent
our broader Churchill Community beyond
athletic and club representation
and to increase the overall number
of parents involved.
- Next Booster Meeting is November
1st – Mary
Lou would like to have Nov. 3rd
Site Council Agenda to give the
group some
insight as to what we are doing
in the near future.
-
Don suggested that we each
spend a few minutes searching
for other
high school booster clubs
to find activities for fund raising
that benefit the entire school community.
