AnnouncementsThe EEF grants were announced and both of
ours were granted.
- Books for Bookworm Club
- Read Write Books for Alternative School
Leadership Update
- Leadership will be putting on a CDC (Child Development Center)
Holiday Party in December.
- Toys for Tots is another planned project involvement, however,
if the canned food drive under way now is not successful,
they will not do Toys for Tots.
- This winter during basketball games, staff and students may
purchase Fear the Dome t-shirts for the basketball games.
Students will have one color and staff a different color.
- The Climate Survey has not been done yet in Leadership.
Update From Dennis
- Dennis just returned from Miami where he attended a workshop
put on by the Wallace Foundation called Building
Professional Learning Communities. Topics included
strengthening teacher teams, having a mission and
vision. It was a good experience and Wallace will
be sending a team to visit our school in the future.
- Dennis and Cindy Sainz also attended the Oregon School
Board Association Conference in Portland where our
own Wes Flinn and Katy McAuliffe presented on
Churchill's Small Learning Communities. Both Wes
and Katy did an outstanding job. It was good for
Churchill.
Open Agenda Items
- The open agenda item mentioned last meeting, regarding
staff agreements, will be on the Dec 7 Staff

Small group representatives from each group that met last
