Churchill High School Weekly Newsletter

May 16, 2025
Family Bulletin header with red text, a newspaper titled 'NEWS,' and a pair of black-framed glasses resting on the newspaper.

Greetings Lancers Family,

This is your last chance to catch the Spring Musical. A giant volcano rises up from the seafloor and threatens the lives of everyone in Bikini Bottom. Come watch as students become your favorite childhood cartoon characters. Tickets are $7 for students and $15 for general admission. You can buy them from any CHS Thespian, the QR code on their posters, or at the door. Performances are May 16 and 17 at 7:00 PM and May 18 at 2:00 PM.

Keeping with the nautical theme, I got to watch CHS students pitch clients today in the "Shark Tank" as part of their capstone projects in Mr. Egan Graphic Design class  I can't wait to see which logo the clients choose and then be able to one day see someone wearing their band shirt and say, I knew the student who designed that!

We had our first Lancer Pride Tickets drawing today, and it was a splash. We are trying to end the year by having weekly drawings for students who staff recognize for doing something above and beyond. Students, if you receive a ticket from a teacher, bring it to the office. We will have a drawing every Friday until the end of the year. Keep making waves, Lancers, and hopefully you win something cool.

We are treading water as fast as we can, trying to keep up with all the end-of-year events. We go to great depths to keep you informed, so please make sure you are reading the announcements so that you don't miss any end-of-the-year events, info about graduation, or summer learning opportunities.

Go Lancers,

Justin Huntley
Interim Principal - Churchill
