The excitement is building as graduation day draws closer!
The Diploma Name Form has been extended through Monday, May 19th, for students to submit their preferred name for the graduation program. The form will remain open for diploma names through May 23. If you do not complete the form, your legal first and last name as they appear in Synergy will be printed in the program and on your diploma.
Ticket distribution and walking partner sign-ups are underway and continue into June. Remember, this Friday, May 23rd, is the last day to request extra tickets before the lottery is processed, so finish up those last items on the checklist and visit Jill in the office at lunchtime to submit your requests. Don't delay – secure your tickets so you can share this special milestone with your loved ones!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the Senior Cap and Gown Parade on Monday, June 2nd! Don't forget to pick up your cap and gown at the Spring Social on Friday, May 30th, to participate in this special tradition.
Counselors have created a new transcript request Google Form for students who have had difficulty requesting transcripts through Naviance. Please request your transcript as soon as possible to ensure that your counselor can complete your request before they leave for the summer.
Finally, don't forget to save your school data from your 4J accounts and update any 3rd-party accounts to a personal email address.
Don't delay on these important steps as we gear up for graduation!
With PRIDE,
Churchill Graduation Committee

On Monday, June 2nd, seniors will visit our feeder elementary and middle schools to participate in the annual Cap & Gown Senior Parade - a cherished tradition across Eugene School District 4J.
This event gives our graduating class the opportunity to:
- Inspire younger students
- Showcase their achievements
- Reconnect with their roots
Transportation:
Bus transportation will be provided for all participating seniors. Students will depart from CHS at 12:15 pm, immediately following lunch, and return by 1:30 pm. They will be excused from their 7th period to attend.
Permission Forms:
Signed permission forms are required for participation. Forms are available in the front office. Please return completed forms by Tuesday, May 27th.
Attire:
Students must bring and wear their graduation caps and gowns for the parade. Caps & gowns will be distributed on Friday, May 30th.
This meaningful event is a highlight for our entire school community. Our feeder schools eagerly anticipate welcoming back future graduates, and we hope all seniors will take part in this inspiring tradition.

The survey is still open to allow students to complete this graduation requirement.
Graduating students: You must complete the Graduation Survey before you can pick up your graduation tickets.
This quick survey gives us essential info about your post-high school plans, and is where you'll tell us where to mail your diploma! You can return to the survey to update your responses any time up to graduation day.
Complete it now (you'll need to be signed into your 4J Google account): Click HERE.

Graduating students have until this Friday, May 23, to pick up their tickets and request extras. Remember, you must be cleared on the Graduation Checklist to be able to pick up tickets or request extra tickets. Requests for extra tickets will be processed on May 23. Extra tickets will be reserved and ready to pick up on Tuesday, May 27.
4 tickets will be reserved for each student, but we cannot guarantee extra tickets will be available after May 23. On May 27, all cleared students can request up to 14 total tickets until all tickets are gone.
Walking Partner signup is open all day. Slips are on Jill's office window.
Be ready to pick up your graduation tickets!
- All columns on the checklist must have a checkmark!
- Request the full number of tickets you need.
- Know if any of your guests require wheelchair or ADA seating. Wheelchair accommodations are available in all sections, and elevators are available for guests in the upper sections.
- Don't forget to request an interpreter! Let us know how many of your guests require an interpreter. We'll have someone ready to greet them in the Hult Center lobby before the ceremony.

With only a few weeks left before you graduate, now is the time to save your school data before you lose access to your 4J accounts.
When you finish your graduation requirements, your 4J accounts will be closed. This means you will lose access to StudentVUE, Canvas, your school Gmail, Google Drive, and other 4J accounts.
Google Files, Emails, and Contacts — DO THIS ASAP:
Make sure to save any files or data you want to keep from your school accounts to a personal device, an external drive, or your personal Google Drive. Use Google Takeout to download your 4J Google data at takeout.google.com.
It may take a few days for Google to process your request. Be sure to do this before your school account is turned off, which might be immediately at the end of your last day of classes.
Naviance and other 3rd-Party accounts:
If you use your school email for your Naviance account, change it to a personal email address so you can still access it. Do the same for any other accounts that use your school email to log in.

Photographers from Lifetouch will be at the graduation ceremony to capture your special moments.
Before the ceremony, Lifetouch will take a group photo of the entire graduating class in their caps and gowns. During the event, they will also be taking photos of each graduate receiving their diploma cover, an individual portrait with their diploma cover, candid shots of gathered families, and pictures of the ceremony itself.

Remember one crucial step for your college journey: You MUST request your final transcripts through Naviance. This is essential, even if you applied directly to your chosen college or university. Emailed transcript requests after graduation will cause significant delays in your college admission process. Make sure to submit your Naviance request today!
