Dear Churchill Families,
As we move further into the second half of the semester and approach spring break, I want to thank you for the continued support you provide our students and school community. This time of year can feel busy for students, but it is also an important stretch for learning, growth, and preparation for the opportunities ahead.
One message we continue to emphasize with students is the importance of being present, engaged, and connected at school each day. Regular attendance and active participation in class make a tremendous difference in student success. When students are here, asking questions, collaborating with peers, and working closely with their teachers, they build the habits and skills that will serve them well beyond high school.
We encourage families to continue partnering with us during this time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to teachers, counselors, or administrators if you have questions about your student’s progress, upcoming opportunities, or ways we can support them. At the same time, we hope you’ll take time to celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our students, both big and small.
As we near the end of the quarter, we are also preparing for several high-stakes assessment opportunities that many of our students will participate in, including the SBAC for our Juniors. These assessments provide important feedback on student learning and can open doors for future academic and post-secondary opportunities. Over the coming weeks, we will share more specific information. And we strongly encourage students to participate, connect with peers, and take advantage of the many experiences available at Churchill.
Thank you again for your continued partnership and support. When we work together, our students thrive. We are proud of the work our students are doing every day and look forward to finishing the 25/26 year strong.
Go Lancers!
